Friends and beer lovers! Join us for our 2nd Annual 4th of July Cookout at Nya Carnegiebryggeriet!

In the United States, Independence Day is all about getting together with friends and family and enoying a good ol' fashioned barbecue, warm weather, great music and of course fireworks together.

Since Nya Carnegie is one part American with strong ties to The Brooklyn Brewery in New York, it's only fitting that we should put on a proper 4th of July bash to celebrate this unique holiday. Check out this amazing line-up for the day:

-Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy will be in the house and making a special 4th of July toast.

-We?ll be serving a special Independence Day Combo (cheeseburger, hot dog with all the fixings, soft serve malt ice cream and a beer) for 240 SEK all day from noon until 22:00. Alcohol-free alternative combo for 200 SEK.

-Official pre-release of our latest experimental beer "Fridens Ale" - an American Dark Ale. This beer is our second tender win at Systembolaget and will released in bottles in September. From Brooklyn Brewery we'll be serving Scorcher Session IPA, Quadraceratops, and American Ale - and hopefully even more specialties!

-Live music from the Bluegrass band Le Chat Mort

-Cornhole/bean-bag-toss tournament

-Free facepainting

-HUGE (!!) fireworks show down by the water starting at 21:30.

No reservations required. Just wear all the red, white and blue clothes you have and bring a smile :) See you on the 4th!
